WFSECTS is composed of various ministries within the church.
Each ministry has its individual purpose in serving the members
of Woodlawn Forrest Church of Christ.
encourage Christian Women to help in the building of the kingdom
while motivating one another in love, fellowship and service.
Ecclesiastes 9:10: “Whatsoever thy
hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work,
nor device, no knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, wither thou

Mrs. Gloria Butler and Mrs. Francine Shearry are the coordinator and co-coordinator
for the WFSECTS Ministries.
These ladies are responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation
of plans and programs for the ladies of the congregation in up-building the work of
Purpose: To assist baptismal candidates in preparation
To maintain baptismal garments and other items.
To keep assigned bulletin boards beautiful, neat and up-to-date.
To maintain adequate clothing for distribution to needy individuals.
To prepare the Lord’s Supper for worship services.
Purpose: To welcome new members and new converts to
the congregation through acts
of love, concern and fellowship.
Purpose: To maintain the kitchen and monitor functions
when it is in use.
Purpose: To prepare meals for the sick and shut-in.
To report news of the various committees.
Provide child care for mothers with small children during the
worship services (ages: infants to 4 years old).
To provide food for the needy.
and Decorations Ministry
To beautify the building.
Purpose: To visit the sick, shut-in, and bereaved members
and spread a little cheer.
To provide first aid and health education.
