Would you like to become a member of the Woodlawn Forrest Church of Christ? Are you ready to obey the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
To become a member of the Church of Christ there are 5 steps that must be completed!
- HEAR the Gospel – The Gospel is the “Good News” that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and resurrected for our sin. (Romans 10:17)
- BELIEVE the Gospel – Trust the “Good News” that you heard. Jesus’ death on the cross paid the price for our sin. (Hebrews 11:6)
- REPENT of your sin – Repentance is a change of mind that leads to a change of behavior. Change your mind about WHO GOD IS! Change your mind about how God operates! (Luke 13:3&5)
- CONFESS Jesus to be the Son of God. (Matthew 10:32-33)
- Be BAPTIZED in water for the remission of your sin. (Mark 16:15-16)
Completing these acts means you have become God’s possession and become a member of the Church of Christ.
